Broomfield Summer Concert Series schedule announced

Mar. 22—The city of Broomfield announced this week that the summer concert series will be returning this year.

Beginning June 21, various musical acts across a number of genres will perform in Broomfield for the summer concert series. Performances are free and open to the public and will include a variety of preshow festivities, including local food trucks parked at the events.

This year's musical festivities kick off with "Proclaiming Colorado's Black History through song," a multi-modal musical performance and historical tour featuring musician Adrian Miller at 7 p.m., on June 21 at the Broomfield Depot Museum.

The remaining schedule includes:

—June 28, 7 p.m., Broomfield Library Field: QUEL Bordel!, a musical group founded in California that describes themselves as "world punk."

—July 5, 7 p.m., Redpoint Ridge Park at Arista: The Coffis Brothers.

—July 12, 7 p.m., Redpoint Ridge Park at Arista: Trumpeter Jennifer Hartswick.

July 19, 7 p.m., Midway Park: Colorado favorites Conjunto Colores, who will be showcasing their Lating Jazz and Salsa styles.

—July 26, 7 p.m., Midway Park: Mexican songstress Sonia De Los Santos and American folk duo The Okee Dokee Brothers.
