Brown County Landfill's free spring residential cleanup ends Saturday

Brown County's free residential spring cleanup ends Saturday at 5 p.m.

Until then, fees are wived on paint, trees, rubble, batteries, furniture, waste oil, electronics, appliances, scrap metal, propane tanks, grass, leaves and other miscellaneous waste dropped at the landfill.

There is a limit of four car or pickup tires per visit.

The landfill is at 13225 379th Ave., which is northwest of Aberdeen. The hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. All loads must be covered and secured.

Fees at the landfill still apply to mobile homes, and business and commercial waste.
