"As we drive through these trees it feels like you're taking a step back into the northern woods of Wisconsin. However, we're only minutes away from Green Bay and the hustle and bustle of a busy community," Matt Kriese, Brown County Parks director, said during a media tour of the new campground Tuesday.

Brown County expects the campground, a $1.2 million investment, to attract more than 20,000 visitors a year and generate $125,000 in annual revenue.
