North Carolina basketball has added a 3-point shooter from the transfer portal with the commitment of Brown transfer Paxson Wojcik.

Wojcik, a 6-foot-5 wing, on Monday night announced his commitment to the Tar Heels via his Instagram account. He knocked down 38% of his attempts from long range and averaged 14.9 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists for the Bears this past season.

"Couldn't be more excited to be a Tar Heel! #carolinafamily," Wojcik wrote.

The Charleston, South Carolina, native made double-digit 3s in 16 of 27 games as a senior at Brown. Wojcik, a career 36.4% 3-point shooter, played two seasons at Loyola-Chicago before two more with the Bears.

UNC, which finished 20-13 and missed the NCAA Tournament this past season, had the second-lowest 3-point shooting percentage (31.2%) in program history. RJ Davis (36.2%) was the lone Tar Heel to shoot better than 35% from beyond the arc last season.
