Browns had formal meeting with Penn State C Juice Scruggs at the NFL Scouting Combine

While this was before the team re-signed starting center Ethan Pocic, the Cleveland Browns did meet with a 2023 NFL Draft hopeful at the center position at the NFL Scouting Combine. Sitting down with Penn State leader and center Juice Scruggs, the Browns could be looking to improve the depth at the center position with the main event just a little over a month away.

With Dawson Deaton being a late seventh rounder, his roster spot is not set in stone. Nick Harris, while he possesses potential, is entering his contract year after blowing his knee out in 2022. Scruggs is a solid center who will not blow anyone away, but a player who is sturdy and could spot start if needed.
