Browns replay: Cleveland Browns beat Cincinnati Bengals on 'Monday Night Football'

The bye week can't come fast enough for the Browns.

But they have to get through a Monday night game against the division rival Cincinnati Bengals first. How they play Monday night could be a strong indicator of what's to come after the bye.

Will they be together, focused and motivated? Or will they look like the team that sleep-walked through an embarrassing loss to the New England Patriots two weeks ago? If the way they played against the Baltimore Ravens last week is an indication, it's a team that hasn't yet thrown in the towel.

How they'll look if they take a 2-6 record into the bye week could be something altogether different.

There will be three games after the bye before suspended quarterback Deshaun Watson takes over for embattled backup Jacoby Brissett. It's safe to say the Browns have to beat the Bengals and win at least two of the three games following the bye to leave the Watson-led Browns with any semblance of playoff hopes.
