What's new on E Street?

It appears to be a lot. The social media accounts of Bruce Springsteen shared a 15-second live clip at noon on Monday, May 23, of the modern era E Street Band performing the intro of “Born in the U.S.A.,” with a referral to “May 24, 2022 Brucespringsteen.net” at the end of the vid.

“Oh my sweet Jesus it’s happening,” commented one fan on Twitter.

An announcement of a long-awaited tour would be a reasonable interpretation.

“I just wet myself,” commented another fan.

Update: A tour has been announced.

The Boss said you'll be seeing the E Street Band “pretty soon” on tour during an appearance on Sirius XM's E Street Radio with Jim Rotolo on Wednesday, March 9.

“We're getting our plans for touring together, we'll be out there,” Springsteen said. “We hope to be out there this year. I just didn't have confidence or wanted to take the risk for my audience that it was going to be OK so we put it off for a little while. But we're working on plans to get it all together.”

The last time the E Street Band performed together on stage was Feb. 25, 2017, for the final night of the “The River Tour.”

Then again, it might be a tease for a different announcement.

“Please be a new pro shot concert video!” commented another fan.

Maybe a pro shot concert video of an upcoming tour?

We'll find out tomorrow.
