New Brunswick shooting at house party on Plum Street leaves man injured

NEW BRUNSWICK – A North Brunswick man suffered non-life-threatening injuries Friday night after he was shot while attending a party on Plum Street, city Police Department Deputy Director Joseph Miller said.

Around 11:40 p.m. Friday, city police responded to a residence on Plum Street on reports of gunshots outside a party.

The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and was treated at an area hospital, authorities said.

The investigation is ongoing.
