Here's Bryce Young height, weight at NFL Combine, how Alabama QB compares to Kyler Murray

Bryce Young's size has been a popular topic in Indianapolis and in the NFL Draft world in recent months. It's no secret he's not one of the bigger quarterbacks. So, there was significant interest in how Young would measure at the NFL Combine on Saturday morning, considering it's a more non-biased measurement.

The result? He's 5-foot-10 and 1/8 of an inch and he weighs 204 pounds.

Young had been listed on the Alabama football roster at 6-foot, 194 pounds. So according to that weight, he's put on 10 pounds.

According to NFL.com's Lance Zerlein, no quarterback since 2003 weighing fewer than 207 pounds at the combine has been drafted in the first round. Young appears set to change that, though. He is projected by many to be the first quarterback drafted and could even be the first overall pick.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray also went first overall in the 2019 NFL Draft, and he measured almost exactly the same as Young. He was three pounds heavier, though, weighing at 207 at the combine.

But based on pedigree and college success, Young is deserving of being a high first-round draft pick. As a sophomore in his first year starting, Young passed for 4,872 yards with 47 touchdowns and seven interceptions as he ran for three touchdowns en route to winning the Heisman Trophy.

As a junior, he passed for 3,328 yards with 32 touchdowns and five interceptions while working with an almost entirely different supporting cast while dealing with a shoulder injury at times. He also ran for four touchdowns.

"I've been this size, respectfully, my whole life," Young told reporters at the combine Friday. "I know who I am. I know what I can do. For me, I think it's fair; everyone can speculate and ask whatever questions are necessary. I'm going to continue to control what I can control. I'm going to keep working my hardest to put myself in a good position. I'm confident in myself. I know what I can do. I'm just excited to get to that next level."

Young will reportedly not throw at the combine but instead will wait until one of Alabama's two pro days.
