The 2023-24 season for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra promises inclusive programming and community involvement. Jonathon Heyward, the BSO's incoming music director, shared with 11 News his vision for the orchestra's upcoming season. At just 29, Heyward has already collected numerous awards. As the BSO's music director, he said he's hard at work planning the upcoming season that starts in September. He wants to collaborate with the Dance Theatre of Harlem to infuse other art forms into the orchestra's programming.
