BSO raided an apartment by a high school. Officers found drugs, a gun and almost $10K.

A drug raid near Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale yielded several pounds of drugs, a weapon and nearly $10,000 in cash, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Four people — Harry Palmer, 70; Brook Price, 28; Alvin Richards, 27; and Latoya Smith, 39 — were arrested on various charges including cocaine trafficking, drug possession and intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a school.

BSO, along with other law enforcement agencies, executed the two warrants Wednesday at neighboring apartments near the 2700 block of Northwest 13th Street in Fort Lauderdale. There, they found a loaded handgun, roughly 32 grams of cocaine and nearly 5 pounds of marijuana in addition to the cash, deputies say.
