BTS member Jimin is reportedly preparing to release his debut solo album in February.

The Sunday report comes from Sports Donga, who said that BTS’ label Big Hit Music is in the process of deciding the album's official release date.

Big Hit Music has not yet announced an official release date for the album.

The label did confirm that Jimin is working on a solo album in an official statement but did not provide any further details.

With the upcoming release, Jimin will be the fourth member of BTS to officially debut as a soloist, following J-hope, Jin and RM, who each dropped solo projects last year.

This latest news comes shortly after the release of "Vibe," Jimin's recent collaboration with BIGBANG member Taeyang.

Jimin has previously released a number of collaborative tracks outside of BTS' discography, including "With You" with soloist Ha Sung-woon and "Bad Decisions" with fellow BTS vocalists Jin, V and Jungkook. He has also co-written and released several solo tracks included in previous BTS' albums, such as "Lie," "Serendipity" and "Filter."
