“You are sooo cute no thing change at all. take care my love and we will be with you so stay safe or I'm going to cry forever..... let's promise each other Jin,” wrote another.

Short hair is a requirement for all South Korean military recruits prior to entering a five-week basic training program. Earlier this month, BTS’ agency Big Hit Music issued a statement on Weverse asking fans to respect Jin’s privacy this month, stressing that his enlistment day is “a time to be observed by military personnel and their families only.”

Jin, who turned 30 on Dec. 4, is the first BTS member to enlist. HYBE has confirmed plans for his groupmates to serve when the time comes. The K-pop agency aims for BTS to fully reconvene sometime in 2025.
