BTS' Jungkook becomes first Asian soloist to surpass 100M YouTube views for live performance

BTS’ Jungkook recently broke several records after a video of one of his live performances garnered over 100 million views on YouTube.
The 25-year-old South Korean artist sang his song “Dreamers,” which features Qatari singer Fahad Al Kubaisi, during the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony in Doha, Qatar, on Nov. 20, 2022.
The record-breaking production has helped Jungkook become the first Asian soloist to surpass 100 million YouTube views for a live performance and also the quickest to reach the milestone at just 63 days.
The previous holders of the speed achievement were Blackpink for the video of their live performance of “Pretty Savage” in October 2020, which reportedly garnered 100 million views in 77 days.
