A new bubble tea spot has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 60 E. Fourth St. in the East Village, the newcomer is called Hello Always Tea.

Founded by a couple who spent a year boba-hopping across Asia, the business uses loose-leaf tea imported from Taiwan and homemade tapioca pearls in its bubble tea creations. The menu is divided into four drink categories: milk tea, milk foam tea, fruit-flavored tea and tea mixed with fresh fruit. Check out the Golden Oolong Milk Tea, Jasmine Green Milk Foam and Passionfruit Green Tea.

With a five-star rating out of 59 reviews on Yelp so far, Hello Always Tea has already made a good impression.

Henry M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 6, wrote, "In short, great tea flavor, not too sweet, and with perfect boba. This is now my favorite boba shop in New York City."

Yelper Mundeep B. added, “Wife was in the mood for bubble tea, and this place did not disappoint. Friendly owners, and more importantly, they serve a great product."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Hello Always Tea is open from 2–9 p.m. on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and from 2–10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Monday.)
