Buckeye Central's Alex Kanney earns All-Ohio baseball honors in Division IV

The final postseason honors in baseball have been announced, and for the second consecutive season Buckeye Central senior Alex Kanney is an All-Ohioan.

An all-around threat for the Bucks throughout his career, Kanney was 7-2 on the mound this season with a 1.81 ERA in 65⅔ innings, 113 strikeouts, a 1.29 WHIP and .214 BAA. His bat wasn't quite as potent as last season, but he still carried a .267 average with 23 hits, 19 runs, five RBIs and 15 stolen bases.

He was named honorable mention All-Ohio in Division IV after receiving the same honors as a junior.
