Buckeye Central's McDougals, Crestline's Higgins named D-IV All-District 6 in volleyball
Sisters from Buckeye Central and a talented junior from Crestline were named to All-District 6 teams in Division IV.
Junior Mia McDougal of Buckeye Central was selected to the first team after leading the Buckettes with 289 kills and 72 blocks, along with 241 digs, 17 aces and 287 receptions.
On the third team was sophomore Mara McDougal whose 334 digs and 438 receptions were best on the team. She also had 86 kills, 52 aces and 33 assists. Joining her was Crestline's Lillian Higgins, who led the Bulldogs in virtually every statistical category with 99 kills, 61 aces, 315 digs, 119 assists and 158 receptions.
