Buckeye Central's Ryley Kantzer, Kate Siesel cap off careers as All-Ohioans in Division IV

COLUMBUS - Two players who have surely etched their names into Buckeye Central lore finish out their high school careers earning top honors in the state.

Deservedly so.

Seniors Ryley Kantzer and Kate Siesel earned All-Ohio honors in Division IV with Kantzer landing on the third team, Siesel a special mention.

Kantzer, a four-year letterwinner, was named Northern 10 Player of the Year after helping guide the Buckettes to a third consecutive league title. She averaged 8.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.3 blocks while shooting 83.9% from the free-throw line.

Siesel led the county in scoring with 14.4 points per game along with 2.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 2.5 steals and 0.3 blocks. She shot 38.8% from the field and 75% from the free-throw line while knocking down a single-season record 82 3-pointers.
