Country music star Corey Kent is set to perform at a special pre-party on July 22 before the Buckeye Country Superfest.

The Buckeye Country Superfest has announced a special pre-party on July 22 before the full festival the next day.

The event will take place at Newport Music Hall and country music star Corey Kent is expected to perform.

Kent released his critically-acclaimed sophomore album “‘21” in December. The album made it into the top five new albums on Spotify the week of its release.

His career began in 2019 after signing a publishing deal with Combustion Music and writing songs for the likes of Kolby Cooper and Brandon Jenkins. He even wrote the No. 1 hit “Hit You Where It Hurts” for William Clark Green.

His debut album, “From the West LP,” garnered more than 3.5 million streams.

The Friday Night Party is free for VIP package holders. For the general public, the tickets cost $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Tickets go on sale Friday at axs.com.
