The Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope is opening its wardrobe closet for a one-day holiday sale of costumes from theater productions.

Founded in 1939, the nonprofit playhouse promises “flamboyant and fabulous” costumes in a “high-drama, appropriately festive rummage sale.”

Outfits and shoes could include costumes from shows such as “Mamma Mia,” “Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story,” “Million Dollar Quartet,” “42nd Street,” “Guys & Dolls,” and “Is There Still Sex in the City?”

The wardrobe sale will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, said Sally Weisman, event coordinator and member of the playhouse artists board.

“If you’re looking for something fun and unusual, the sale is a great opportunity to find that special Christmas gift for someone or the perfect dress to wear to your next holiday party,” Weisman said.

The Bucks County Playhouse is located at 70 Main Street in the borough. For more information, visit: https://bcptheater.org/rummage-sale
