Bucks Lock Antlers Under Christmas Lights in Wyoming

Two bucks locked antlers as they rutted in front of festive-looking suburban homes in Laramie, Wyoming, footage shared to Facebook on December 20 shows.

Local man Curt Moore caught the scene on camera as the two bucks took their battle across driveways, clashing under Christmas lights, and eventually having their antlers separated when the pair clashed with a metal pole.

Moore said he took the video the previous day on his way to work, and could hear the pair rutting from his home, a “couple of blocks” away. “I think one of them wanted to be the lead for Santa’s sleigh,” he joked.

The footage shows a third deer enter the scene, before the battling bucks eventually disappear. Credit: Curt Moore via Storyful

- Well, you don't see this very often going to work. [INAUDIBLE] I wonder if they're not locked together. They have not come apart.

Tell me these sons of-- boys, please don't be locked together. Yeah, I think they are.

Those things are locked together, son.

This is literally in the neighborhood. That got them apart.

So I heard this from my house about two blocks away. I think they're done. I'm glad they're apart. No, they're not done.
