Bucs re-sign defensive DT Deadrin Senat

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have brought back yet another defensive depth piece.
Greg Auman of FOX Sports reported on Tuesday that the team intends to bring back defensive tackle Deadrin Senat, who signed with the Bucs in 2022. Senat was initially a practice squad member for the team but was called up to active duties later in the year.
Senat first played for the Falcons from 2018-2021, where he was a third-round pick. He’s only had playing time in three years of his career, with his most being 15 games in Atlanta in 2018 — there, he recorded 30 total tackles. He played in 12 games for the Bucs in 2022 and recorded 17 total tackles and a sack.
Senat’s re-signing showcases a point of emphasis for the Bucs, as the team has brought back defensive tackle Pat O’Connor and signed Greg Gaines in free agency.
