Bucyrus man injured in one-vehicle rollover crash on Lincoln Highway

A Bucyrus man was taken to a Columbus hospital for treatment after a one-vehicle rollover crash on Lincoln Highway east of the city Friday afternoon.

Jeramiah L. Johnson, 30, Bucyrus, was transported to Avita Health System-Bucyrus Hospital and later flown to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, according to a news release from the Crawford County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office was called to Lincoln Highway just east of Oak Drive at 4:19 p.m. Friday for a one-vehicle rollover injury crash with entrapment, according to the news release. Members of the Whetstone Volunteer Fire Department and Life First Ambulance Service also were dispatched.

Deputies found a white 2015 Buick Encore on its passenger side off the north side of Lincoln Highway with severe damage to its right front and rear, according to the news release. The driver had to be removed from the Buick using a hydraulic cutting tool. The road was briefly shut down as Lohr’s Towing removed the vehicle from the scene.
