"Happy March Madness!! Just found out this had to do with sports and not just saying it’s a crazy month! In celebration of this sports thing @budlight is giving you the chance to win $15,000! Share a video with #EasyCarryContest for a chance to win!! Good luck! #budlightpartner," Mulvaney wrote on Instagram.

"Anheuser-Busch works with hundreds of influencers across our brands as one of many ways to authentically connect with audiences across various demographics and passion points. From time to time we produce unique commemorative cans for fans and for brand influencers, like Dylan Mulvaney.  This commemorative can was a gift to celebrate a personal milestone and is not for sale to the general public," an Anheuser-Busch spokesperson told Fox News Digital.

What did Bud Light do?

Anheuser-Busch partnered with trans actor and activist Dylan Mulvaney, who has documented her transition in a viral “Days of Girlhood” TikTok series.

This past weekend, she posted a video where she joked about March Madness and revealed a special can of Bud Light with her face on it to celebrate one full year since her journey began.

Kid Rock shoots Bud Light cans while crying; video goes viral

The comedic promotional video prompted anti-trans outrage across right-wing media and also from musician Kid Rock. On Monday, the singer released a video of him shooting multiple Bud Light cans while wearing a Make America Great Again hat.

Anheuser-Busch did not comment on Kid Rock’s video.

The right-wing rhetoric and Kid Rock’s video come as transgender people continue to be targeted by Republican lawmakers. According to the American Civil Liberties Union, 451 anti-LGBTQ bills have been introduced in state legislatures across the country so far this year.

Other videos of people removing Bud Light from their fridges and replacing them with Coors have begun trending.

Coors has previously supported trans people and the LGBTQIA+ community.
