Bailey's Drive Inn Donuts will debut at Budd Dairy Food Hall on Jan. 31.

Budd Dairy Food Hall will have a new vendor to take over its dessert-based kitchen.

The Italian Village chef-driven incubator will welcome Bailey's Drive Inn Donuts to its rotating Sugar kitchen on Jan. 31.

Bailey's Drive Inn Donuts specializes in unique donut holes, including a weekly rotating flavor, and sundaes.

The Pataskala-based eatery has previously been available at Worthington and Granville farmers markets, Columbus-area coffee shops and for delivery. It's named for Bailey's Drive Inn, a diner founded in Bradbury in the 1950s.

Bailey's Drive Inn Donuts will be the Sugar kitchen's featured vendor for February and March. It's the first time Bailey's will be available for more than just carryout.

Co-owner Amy Nelson is excited about the opportunity.

"We've been doing this for seven years," said Nelson, who co-owns Bailey's with her husband, David Nelson.

When they first started Bailey's, it was in an effort to help provide for their family, she said.

"It's both kind of humbling, but it's also really kind of affirming," said Amy Nelson. "We didn't have any idea it would grow into this. So it's just really exciting."
