Celebrities, talk show hosts and more continue to react to Bud Light's recent partnership with TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney and calls from some customers to boycott the beer brand.

Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth released a statement Friday, seemingly addressing backlash from some customers after Bud Light sent a personalized can to Mulvaney, an alumna of the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music, and partnered with her for a promotional social media post. Whitworth did not specifically name the actor and transgender influencer, nor mention the partnership.

Anheuser-Busch owns numerous beer brands, including Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Stella Artois, Budweiser and Busch Light.

Budweiser later released a new ad, and people like Donald Trump Jr. and hosts of "The View" reacted to the calls for a boycott.

Budweiser posted patriotic ad following backlash

Minutes after Whitworth's statement, Budweiser shared a new ad on Twitter. The one-minute clip shows what appears to be a Clydesdale horse, which the company has historically featured in ads, running through American landmarks and past patriotic symbols.

"This is a story bigger than beer," the clip's narrator says. "This is the story of the American spirit."

Some people online took the ad as a response to the Bud Light controversy, but that has not been confirmed. Besides the commercial, Budweiser has not posted from its verified Twitter account since April 1.

Donald Trump Jr.: Stop boycotting 'iconic' Anheuser-Busch

Donald Trump Jr. reacted to Mulvaney's partnership with Bud Light on the Thursday episode of his show "Triggered." Trump disagrees with an Anheuser-Busch boycott since he says the company's political contributions historically lean conservative.

"Anheuser-Busch totally sh*t the bed with this Dylan Mulvaney thing. I'm not for destroying an American, an iconic company, for something like this," he said. "... I'm not gonna blame the whole company for the inaction or stupidity of someone in a marketing campaign that got woke as hell. The company itself doesn't participate in the same leftist nonsense as the other big conglomerates."

"But, if they do this again, then it's on them," he added. "Then, screw them."

California Rep. Katie Porter and British broadcaster Piers Morgan discussed Mulvaney's partnership with both Bud Light and Nike on Bill Maher's talk show "Real Time."

Piers, specifically referring to Mulvaney's sponsored Nike post, said the TikToker portrays a "misogynist view of how a woman behaves."

"A lot of women are like, hang on, this person is mocking us while making themselves now the poster girl for womanhood, but remains, for all intensive purposes, a biological male," Piers said.

Porter, on the other hand, brought up the disproportionate rates of violence targeting the transgender community and said Mulvaney is raising important issues, according to Deadline.

Ana Navarro weighed in, saying public outrage over the partnership was misplaced.

“In the meantime, we’ve had 19 mass shootings since last Saturday," she said Monday.

Actor and cohost Whoopi Goldberg also questioned why people are so upset with Mulvaney and Bud Light.

"I want to know what are you so angry about? Beer does not have – I mean, it's not a Democrat or Republican. It doesn't have a belief system. It's just beer," Goldberg said.
