Buffalo Bills Fan Shows Exactly Why Game Was Switched to Detroit

The Buffalo Bills had to switch their “home” game against the Cleveland Browns to Detroit at the weekend, and one football fan in Hamburg gave a clear demonstration of why, diving off a roof into the piled-high fresh snow.

The National Weather Service reported a new daily snowfall record for Buffalo Airport during the severe weather, while around 80 inches in accumulated snow was measured at Orchard Park, near the Bills’ Highmark Stadium.

Video here shows Richard Hulburd, a die-hard Bills fan, shouting “Let’s Go Buffalo!” before taking the jump into what he described as the “77 inches of lake effect snow we received since Thursday.”

“I decided to go jump off the roof as the Bills mafia jumps through tables all the time,” Hulbard said.

The move to Detroit didn’t upset the Bills, who won 31-23. Credit: @weather_buffalo via Storyful
