Buffalo Bills ticket prices increase for 2023 season: What to know

Buffalo Bills fans will be paying more to attend games at Highmark Stadium in 2023 as the team announced price hikes across the board, something 27 other teams will be doing as well.

Last year, the Bills set a franchise record as their season ticket base soared to 62,302 in a venue with a capacity just north of 70,000, and those who choose to renew will be paying anywhere from 10% to 30% more, with an average increase of 12%.

To sit in the general admission areas, the price will range from $550 to $1,850, averaging out at $1,038. The cost of the club packages will range from $2,045 to $5,105, with an average of $3,050. That’s for nine games total - one preseason and eight regular-season. Remember, one of the Bills “home” games will be played in London.

According to the team, the average general admission price per game of $115 is around $4 less than the NFL average price for 2023, while the average club seat of $339 is about $14 less than comparable NFL packages.

The Bills have had remarkable success with season ticket renewals which is one of the reasons why they say they have 6,000 people on the waiting list to buy season tickets.

Current season ticket holders have until March 15 to renew, and after the deadline, those people will be offered the chance to relocate to other seats that may come available via non-renewals. Thereafter, if any season tickets are left, those on the waiting list will get their chance starting sometime in April.

“While the price has gone up, the value proposition is that season tickets are now more desirable than ever,” Bills EVP/Chief Operating Officer Ron Raccuia told Buffalobills.com.

Raccuia also made it clear that when the Bills start selling season tickets for games at the new stadium which the team hopes to be playing in by 2026, current season ticket holders will get priority. The issue there is the new stadium capacity is going to be around 60,000, so getting in now is somewhat important.

With so many seats accounted for by season tickets, the individual game tickets are not only hard to come by, but are much higher in price, on average, than season tickets, especially when you factor in the secondary market.

According to the team, single-game tickets in 2022 were 51% higher than season tickets, and those purchased on the secondary market where additional fees apply were 94% higher.

“It’s critically important that in the new stadium our season ticket members are the lifeblood of the organization and our fan base,” Raccuia said. “We want to make sure that they have the right to purchase season tickets before anybody else does.”
