Buffalo Wild Wings GO opening first Bradenton takeout and deliver location this week

Buffalo Wild Wings opens its first Bradenton takeout and delivery store, called Buffalo Wild Wings GO, on Wednesday at 5425 14th St. W.

GO will offer traditional and boneless wings, hand-breaded tenders, chicken sandwiches, burgers, sides and 26 Buffalo Wild Wings sauces and dry rubs.

“I am thrilled to introduce the new Buffalo Wild Wings GO model in Bradenton,” John Bowie, president of Buffalo Wild Wings, said in a news release.

Staffing includes 25 full-time and part-time jobs.

“Our takeout and delivery business grew significantly over the past two years as guests across America enjoyed our award-winning wings, sauces and other menu items at home. With great deals every day of the week on wings and bundles at GO, customers have one more way to enjoy our wings for any occasion, from game day lunch to family dinner,” Bowie said.

The Bradenton GO has a walk-up counter, digital menu boards and a pick-up window. It is the 64th GO location in the nation and the second GO location in the state of Florida.

Guests who order ahead will be able to pick up their meals from individual takeout lockers, providing a contactless experience.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.

Developers filed paperwork with Manatee County Development Services for the new store in January 2022.

Buffalo Wild Wings is sometimes called “B-Dubs” from the acronym BWW and shortened to “bee-dubs.” The company registered B-Dubs with the US Patent and Trademark Office on Oct. 2, 2007.

Buffalo Wild Wings has two full-service restaurants in Manatee County: 4120 14th St. W., Bradenton and 5235 University Parkway, University Park.
