Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress Alyson Hannigan is going to do a stint as a reality TV contestant, as she's been announced for Dancing with the Stars season 32.

After a few early reveals, the full line-up for the US version of Strictly Come Dancing season was confirmed today (September 13) on Good Morning America, with 14 famous faces competing for the win.

Alongside Hannigan, there's The Brady Bunch's Barry Williams, Veep's Matt Walsh, America's Next Top Model judge Tyson Beckford, Romy & Michele's High School Reunion's Mira Sorvino and singer Jason Mraz.

Also joining the 2023 cast is Zoey 101 star Jamie Lynn Spears, NFL star Adrian Peterson, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' Xochitl Gomez.

There's also a host of reality stars in the mix. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Mauricio Umansky, Too Hot To Handle's Harry Jowsey, The Bachelorette star Charity Lawson, and Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix are all in the mix, as is social media personality Lele Pons.

Hannigan, who also famously starred in How I Met Your Mother, stated that she kept her casting a secret from everyone and is taking it "very, very seriously".

"Like, I didn't even tell one of my best friends," she explained. "I just texted her last night saying 'Watch GMA tomorrow.' I am a rule-follower. I haven't told anyone."

Meanwhile, three Bachelor Nation stars have previously won Dancing with the Stars, so there's extra pressure for Lawson, but she's also got plenty of people she can call on for their advice.

The judging panel for this season is made up of Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli. Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough serve as co-hosts.

This will be the first season of DWTS without long-time head judge Len Goodman, who stepped away from the show at the end of last year and passed away in April.

Dancing with the Stars season 32 will premiere with a two-and-a-half hour special on Tuesday, September 26 and will continue to air on Tuesdays. It can be streamed live on Disney+ US as well as airing on ABC.
