Buffy actor Tom Lenk is a big fan of American Horror Story. He starred in an episode of the spin-off anthology series American Horror Stories and the actor has now revealed he would be more than enthusiastic about returning.

Lenk, best known for playing Andrew Wells in the hit TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, appeared in the final episode of season one of American Horror Stories, as realtor Tim Williams. Tim shows video game designer Michelle (Mercedes Mason) around the Murder House from season one of American Horror Story.

In an exclusive interview with Digital Spy, Lenk has said he would love to return to the American Horror Story world in whatever capacity possible.

"OMG, yes please! That show was so fun! I was so spoiled there. I am an avid American Horror Story watcher so I would love to come back and be part of the Ryan Murphy troupe of players," Lenk said.

The actor added: "True story, my second TV job ever was Chicken Delivery Boy on Ryan Murphy’s first show, Popular, which I was a big fan of!"

American Horror Stories is currently airing its second season, which consists of 15 episodes in total. The show is an anthology series wherein each episode focuses on a different set of characters and a new plot. American Horror Story, meanwhile, changes characters, locations, and plot every season rather than every episode. The show has been renewed through to at least season 13.

One Lenk character we definitely won't be seeing, however, is Charlie from the DC TV series Batwoman. Lenk played the character in Antifreeze, the fourth episode of season three, but the series was canceled earlier this year.

"I wish we could have seen more of Charlie as well; I thought maybe he was going to be like the new Alfred," Lenk said.

"The show was very ground-breaking for queer and POC representation, so obviously I was sad to see it go. But I’m excited to see what lies ahead for the show's main cast!"

Lenk is currently starring in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival play Lottie Platchett Took a Hatchet.

Lottie Platchett Took a Hatchet is currently playing as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe programme until it ends on August 27, 2022. Grab tickets while you still can right here.
