Build Your Dream McLaren GT With This New Configurator
There's a new McLaren on the block, and you know what that means, right? A new configurator to waste away your day with. Instead of doing what you're supposed to, why not kill some time building your perfect McLaren GT?
As you'd expect, there are lots of customization options for prospective buyers. You start out with three trim levels: Standard, Pioneer, or Luxe. From there, you can pick and choose colors, packages, and options. There are 30 different paint colors available, along with two wheel designs, and five colors for the brake calipers. Choose the "Luxe" trim level, and you get six interior themes to choose from, ranging from Jet Black to a two-tone Porcelain & Ink Blue.
Standalone options include carbon-ceramic brakes, a sport exhaust, a fire extinguisher, and a McLaren-branded luggage set fitted to the GT's storage compartments. You can choose between three different kinds of roofs: A black-painted metal piece, panoramic tinted glass, or an electrochromic panoramic piece that can tint the glass at the push of a button.
Of course, if you're not a fan of the available trims in the configurator, you could always contact McLaren's MSO division to have your car tailored to your utmost desires-for an extra fee, of course.
