Location: 1340 W. Seventh Ave., Eugene.

A new Black Rock Coffee Bar is joining the 7-Eleven convenience store and gas station going up along West Seventh Avenue in Eugene.

The Vancouver, Washington-based coffee chain’s website lists more than 120 locations nationwide and 33 in Oregon, not including the one under construction. The company currently operates one Eugene location, on River Road.

According to city permit records, the coffee shop will offer a drive-thru.

MAJ Development Corporation, of Vancouver, Washington, is developing the site, including the neighboring 7-Eleven convenience store and gas station. The company filed for a building permit for the coffee shop in December and the 7-Eleven on July 1, 2021.

MAJ Commercial Real Estate lists the entire 1.09-acre development for sale at the asking price of $9,789,000, according to the company’s website.

Team Construction LLC, of Vancouver, Washington, is the building contractor for the store.

The site was a Wells Fargo Bank until its demolition in early 2022.
