Bull stomps 2 men working in South Carolina pasture
SMYRNA, S.C. (WSPA) – Two men were stomped by a bull Sunday while working in a cow pasture in Cherokee County, South Carolina, leaving one with life-threatening injuries.
Family members said Brian Oliver and Mike Carroll were working on a fence at DK’s Creek and Pasture on Sunday evening when the bull attacked.

The bull dragged Oliver into a creek bed hole and began trampling him. Carroll stepped in, pulled out a knife, and started stabbing the bull to get it off of Oliver, firefighters said.
The bull then started attacking Carroll, who had called for help before the bull turned its attention to him.
The Cherokee-Kings Creek Volunteer Fire Department and EMS arrived to provide aid to Oliver and Carroll. Due to the extent of their injuries, Carroll was flown by helicopter to Lancaster and Oliver was flown in another to Greenville.
The bull was put down shortly after the incident.

Oliver’s family said he is on life support in the intensive care unit with broken ribs, two broken shoulders and punctured lungs, among other injuries.
Carroll suffered a couple of broken bones and a punctured lung.
