Bullard ISD opens long-awaited athletic complex

BULLARD, Texas (KETK) – Bullard ISD opened their brand new athletic complex in a ceremony on Thursday.

The complex was funded with a school bond passed in 2022, so this project has been years in the making. The new complex will house Bullard ISD’s baseball, softball and tennis programs.

The ceremony gave the Bullard community an opportunity to tour the new facilities and have a hot dog.

“We’re just thankful to our community for supporting the school district and having the vision for the future. It’s just it’s been a it’s been a fun adventure. It’s been something new. But just like I said, a lot of memories and relationships, friendships are going to be built utilizing this facility with our teams,” said Bullard ISD athletic director Scott Calloway

Calloway added that growth in Bullard has made this new complex a much needed addition.
