Bulldozer runs over, kills 7-year-old who was working with his dad, Michigan cops say

A 7-year-old boy working with his father was killed when he fell off a trailer and was run over by a bulldozer, Michigan State Police said.

Police were called to a field near the family’s home in Maple Grove Township about 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, according to a news release. The child was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the boy was riding on a trailer being bulled by the bulldozer prior to his fall.

The names of the boy and his dad were not released.

The incident, which is being called an accidental death, remains under investigation.

Maple Grove Township, in Barry County, is about 100 miles northwest of Detroit.
