“Yours for Humanity, Abby,” first-person re-enactment of Abby Kelley Foster by Lynne McKenney Lydick: 2 p.m. July 17 at Granger Homestead, 295 North Main St., Canandaigua. Abby Kelley Foster was one of America’s most celebrated public figures before the Civil War, speaking all across the country (including upstate New York) on abolitionism and women’s rights. Lydick, nationally known for her riveting evocation of Abby, will take on her persona and speak the words she spoke. The free program is presented by the 1816 Farmington Quaker Meetinghouse Museum, with support from Humanites New York.

Chipping in for Kids Charity Golf Tournament: July 18, at Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor. Lunch and registration, 11 a.m.; 12:30 p.m. shotgun start for the four-person scramble and dinner/prizes at 5:30 p.m. Cost of the tournament is $135 per golfer until July 1, and $145 per golfer after July 1.
