Bumblefest 2022 live music festival, featuring dozens of bands, rocks West Palm Beach

Though summer may finally be cooling off (although only true Floridians will feel the half-degree temperature change and 2% drop in humidity), the music scene in downtown West Palm Beach this Friday and Saturday will be smoking hot.

That's right, it's time for Bumblefest!

Forget all the namby-pamby shows that have come before — this is a full-frontal attack of fun, revelry and music.

This event will be bringing the sweet, sonic sounds of nearly three dozen musical acts to the happy masses on six different stages.

That's right, two nights, dozens of bands, six stages!

Don't pump the breaks: Think Social Distortion's cover of "Maybelline," slam that accelerator to the floor and get ready for all you can handle and more.

Spaceface headlines with former Flaming Lips band member at Bumblefest 2022 music festival

One of the headliners at Bumblefest this year, Spaceface will give the Clematis Street crowd a heaping helping of super fine music!

Happening in the 500 block of Clematis Street (the cool block), the sixth rendition of this monster show will feature headliners including Spaceface, Cumgirl8, The Stargazer Lilies, Immaterial Possession and Gal Musette.

From Memphis via Los Angeles, Spaceface will be bringing their groovy, hypnotic, psychedelic rock sound on Saturday courtesy of members Jake Ingalls (formerly of The Flaming Lips), Eric Martin, Marina Aguerre and Garet Powell.

Seriously, this is some super-fun music. Don't believe it? Listen to "Happens All The Time" or "Millions & Memes" and ask yourself if you don't feel better. If you say "no," stop lying to yourself and listen again.

Fashion designers, models and rockers (kind of reads like Peter Weller's character bio in "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai"), Cumgirl8 will bless South Florida with their punk, sonic sound on Friday. Drummer Chase Lombardo even professes to "(expletive)-ing love South Florida!"

The Stargazer Lilies will provide their heavy ambient, dream pop on Saturday.

Want some unique, ethereal goodness, with some great visuals to boot? Check out Immaterial Possession out of Atlanta also on Saturday.

Pianist, guitarist and lyricist Gal Musette pulls her inspiration from artists Regina Spektor, Burt Bacharach, Björk and the Cocteau Twins. Her melodic brand of indie folk will bring balance to the event (and possibly the Force) on Friday.

Performing since she was 10 years old, indie folk artist Gal Musette will play Friday at Bumblefest.

Dozens of other incredible musical acts will be on hand as well.

On Saturday, enjoy Chlorinefields, Violette Silhouette, Brett Staska, Daddy, Rude Television, Mold!, Paper Carcass, Babe Honey, Mrenc, Kenny 5, Sandman Sleeps, The Basement Presents, JJ Contramus, The Therapy Sessions and "Thai Elvis."

The six stages are: the Respectable Street Patio/Subculture Radio Stage, the Respectable Street Main/Rust & Wax Stage, Subculture Alley/Melody Ave Stage, Lost Weekend, Alchemy and Hullabaloo.

This is a rain-or-shine event and, according to the website, the lineup could be tweaked. There is a limited capacity, so get your tickets now.
