Bump in the Night: Queensland Arson Suspects Collide While Fleeing the Scene
Police in Queensland said they were looking for “two bright sparks” suspected of the arson of two cars on March 2, and “last seen running into each other” as they fled.
Police have released CCTV footage of the incident, which happened in Nerang shortly before 1 am. They said two men, one of whom was carrying a fuel container, gained entry to the Riverview Gardens gated community off Riverview Road.
Petrol was poured over a white 2019 Honda Civic, belonging to a 32-year-old female resident, police said. The fire destroyed the car and damaged the vehicle parked next to it. Credit: Queensland Police Service via Storyful
