Bunny Run to benefit Dream Center expansion, aiding homeless women, children

The Dream Center of Jackson hosted the Bunny Run 5K and 1-mile Fun Run/Bunny Hop, its annual fundraiser, on the lawn of Union University in Jackson on March 8.
Awards were given to the top three male and female finishers during the event, which is held annually to benefit the operations of the Dream Center.
An Easter Egg hunt and a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny were held for children during the event.
The Dream Center is a nonprofit that aids single women and women with children, who have experienced crisis in their lives that has rendered them homeless. The nonprofit is reaching a milestone by building a new facility to better serve those in need.
Construction is underway on the new facility, which will house up to 125 women and children.
The new Dream Center building will be located on 11 acres adjacent to the Northside Assembly Church of God in Jackson.
