Get a burger on Bradley as men's basketball season ticket sales open for 2022

PEORIA — The Bradley Braves men's basketball program is ready to take on new season ticket holders for the 2022-23 season.

The team's annual renewal period ends Wednesday, paving the way for new sales to begin that same day with a pop-up event at Lou's Drive-In and then in full swing on Thursday.

Fans heading to Lou's Drive-In (4229 N. Knoxville Ave.) from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday will get first chance at seat locations. Fans who make a season ticket purchase of at least $150 will get a complimentary burger from Lou's, courtesy of Bradley Athletics.

Bradley has created a new price structure for season tickets, with eight price points. There are season tickets for all budgets, ranging from $75 (with no seat maintenance fee) and rising up to sideline courtside seats that run $1,000 plus a $2,500 seat maintenance fee.

The Braves have a new arena seating graphic, with a chart of ticket costs by location, with seat maintenance fees included and other ticket information.

The 17-game home schedule starts with an exhibition outing against Illinois Wesleyan on Nov. 2 at Carver Arena.The toughest non-conference schedule in head coach Brian Wardle's era at BU's helm follows, ahead of a Missouri Valley Conference 20-game slate. The latter is expected to be announced next month.

New season tickets can be purchased through the Bradley Athletics ticket office from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning Thursday.

Season-ticket requests also may be made online. Additional “pop up” sales events around the area will be announced throughout the month of September.

Bradley jackpot at $24,000

Bradley has launched a "Catch Kaboom! Raffle" in the style of a progressive Queen of Hearts contest.

The current jackpot is over $24,000 after 41 of 52 drawings. The overall winner takes home half. Weekly winners take home 1% of the pot (now around $240) and there is still a $1,000 bonus card undiscovered.

Drawing No. 42 is Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased for as little as $5 through the Catch Kaboom! site.

Money raised from the raffle supports the Braves Club and Bradley Athletics.
