A new restaurant, Burger Hub, is bringing halal options to the Greenfield area.

“We make burgers at home that are 10 times better than the other ones we eat. It’s a lot healthier and tastes better, so I wanted to try and sell that to people,” Ahmad Alsmadi, owner of Burger Hub, said.

Where is the new Greenfield restaurant?

Burger Hub will be located at 6231 S. 27th St. The location was formerly a George Webb.

When will Burger Hub open?

Alsmadi said the restaurant is set to open Friday, Sept. 1.

What are the restaurant's hours?

Burger Hub will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

What will Burger Hub serve?

As the name implies, Burger Hub will sell burgers. The restaurant will also serve chicken sandwiches, wings, tenders, salads, Philly cheesesteaks and veggie burgers. All of the burger meat will be freshly made daily and never frozen. All of the meat served will also be halal.

What is halal meat?

Halal meat must be from certain cuts, humanely slaughtered and prepared in accordance with Islamic dietary law as laid out in the Quran.
