Burglary suspect shot dead by resident, Vallejo PD investigating
(KRON) — A suspected burglar was shot by a resident at a home in Vallejo on Monday morning, according to the Vallejo Police Department.

Vallejo PD responded to a residence on the 1000 block of Georgia Street and Monterey Street at 9:45 a.m. Monday regarding a suspect shot by someone who lived in the home. The man who was shot died at the scene, police said.
“The male was shot at least once by the homeowner after forcing his way into the homeowner’s residence,” VPD said.
Police say the motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
