Two more Clemson football players have entered the transfer portal.

Jaelyn Lay, a redshirt sophomore tight end, entered the portal on Sunday. Darnell Jefferies, a redshirt junior defensive tackle, followed on Monday.

Lay, a 6-foot-6, 265-pounder from Atlanta, played 27 snaps in three games last season and found himself buried on the Tigers’ depth chart at tight end behind starter Davis Allen and backups Sage Ennis and Jake Briningstool, who are both freshmen.
