Burlington Police report pedestrian killed on Chapel Hill Road

Details about the traffic death of a juvenile on Chapel Hill Road Saturday, Dec. 18 are scarce, but so far Burlington Police do not expect to file any charges.

Police responded to a call at 7:01 p.m., Saturday about a traffic accident near Chapel Hill Road’s intersection with Collins Drive, according to a Burlington Police Department news release. The young pedestrian was declared dead at the scene.

Everyone involved stayed at the scene and are cooperating with the investigation, according to the release. The department’s Accident Reconstruction Team took over the investigation.
