BRAINTREE − Out with Beyond, in with Burlington.

The former Bed Bath & Beyond location at The Marketplace at Braintree will become a Burlington Store, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory. It is set to open this fall.

The sale of 400 Grossman Drive Unit #5 appears to have been made to a limited liability company linked to New York-based furniture retailer Raymour & Flanigan, Norfolk County records show. Raymour & Flanigan has a real estate division.

The sale went through on Aug. 9 for $9.35 million.

Burlington will lease the location, according to bankruptcy documents. Burlington announced in an August news release that it had acquired 62 leases of former Bed Bath & Beyond stores.

Burlington has an existing Braintree store in Granite Plaza at 705 Granite St. That location will remain open, a company spokesperson said. The Patriot Ledger also reached out to Bed Bath & Beyond and Raymour & Flanigan for comment on this story.

Bed Bath & Beyond went belly-up and filed for bankruptcy in April, closing 360 stores and 120 buybuyBaby locations. Through the bankruptcy process, online retailer Overstock.com acquired Bed Bath & Beyond in June, and two months later announced the relaunch of its combined digital-only marketplace under a singular name.
