Busch Gardens closed on Christmas Eve as winter weather moves through Hampton Roads

Busch Gardens Williamsburg will be closed Christmas Eve as a winter storm pushes through Hampton Roads and the rest of the country.

In a Facebook post on Friday evening, Busch Gardens announced the amusement park would not open “for the safety of (their) guests and team.” All date-specific tickets that were bought for Dec. 24 will be extended for use until Jan. 1, 2023.

The park is expected to reopen at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 25.
