Pinnacle Home Watch, of Osprey, has earned accreditation from the National Home Watch Association for the third year.

The NHWA was formed in 2009 to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for home watch services throughout the United States and Canada

Pinnacle owner Dave Grundy has been visiting the Sarasota area for the last 40 years. He and his wife, Connie, moved here full time four years ago.

As a general contractor, Grundy spent 35 years working in homes in all phases of residential renovation and remodeling. Before establishing Pinnacle Home Watch, he was an industrial arts teacher, certified to teach plumbing, electric and construction.

Pinnacle Home Watch’s service area is all of Sarasota County.

• Veterans in the North Port community and surrounding areas will have the opportunity to receive free dental services at Price Creek Dentistry on Wednesday, Nov. 9.

Dr. Timothy Lee and his team at Price Creek Dentistry will be honoring and supporting local veterans as part of Veterans Free Dentistry Day, a day dedicated to providing free dental care to the growing number of veterans without dental insurance.

During Veterans Free Dentistry Day, free cleanings and fillings will be provided from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 1500 Price Creek Way, North Port.

Patients will be accepted by appointment only. Veterans are asked to please bring a valid form of Veteran’s Identification (veteran’s I.D., license with veteran’s stamp or DD214).

• Southern Hospitality Home Watch & Home Services, of Bradenton, has earned accreditation from the National Home Watch Association for the ninth year.

The NHWA was formed in 2009 to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for home watch services in the United States and Canada.

Jason (Jay) and Jana Hancock have owned and operated Southern Hospitality Home Watch & Home Services since 2014.

Jay Hancock has been a cabinet installer since 1999. He formerly operated a home inspection business.

Jana Hancock worked for 20 years in residential property management, managing 1,800 units and becoming a national instructor.
