Horst named to Brevard public information team
Rachel Horst recently started as a public information officer at Brevard County government and Brevard County Emergency Management.
Horst, a graduate of the University of Florida, most recently was the digital communications coordinator for the city of Cocoa.
Earlier this year, Horst was honored with the Rising Leader Award from the Florida Public Relations Association. She is an active member of the Space Coast chapter of the FPRA, and currently serves on the chapter’s board.

Prior to joining the city of Cocoa as digital communications coordinator, she was social media manager for the Coalition on Adult Basic Education. Before that, she was a communications technology specialist for Brevard Public Schools.
Luciano joins Steward Cardiology Associates
Michelle Luciano recently joined the team of Jose Montalvo-Fitzpatrick at Steward Cardiology Associates, 150 N. Sykes Creek Parkway, Merritt Island. She currently is accepting new patients.
Luciano is a graduate of Keiser University, where she received her master’s degree in the physician assistant program.

Bialas promoted at Children’s Advocacy Center
Jennifer Bialas recently was promoted to intake coordinator for the child protection team/clinical intervention program at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Brevard.
Bialas previously was a case coordinator at the CACB.
Before joining the CACB, Bialas was a special education teacher the Georgia Network for Educational and Therapeutic Support/Rutland Academy in Athens, Georgia.
Bialas received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brown University and her master’s in special education from the University of Georgia’s Mary Frances Early College of Education.
The mission of the CACB is to serve abused children, providing therapy to child victims and non-offending family members.
