Their current Rockledge location is in the Rockledge Crossing Plaza at the intersection of Barnes Boulevard and Murrell Road. It opened eight years ago.

The new Kehoe Animal Clinic of Viera, currently under construction, is scheduled to open soon on the south side of Health First’s Viera Hospital. The address is 2305 Vidina Drive.

The new 4,000-square-foot Viera clinic will be three times larger than the current one. It will include full-service surgery, dentistry, X-rays and ultrasounds, in-house lab work, and day-only hospitalization for emergency care.

It also will feature six exam rooms, a spacious waiting area, and a fenced-in dog yard where dogs can run off-leash, features designed to provide more comfort and space.

Martha Kehoe, a Brevard County native, has been a veterinarian for 35 years. She attended Palm Bay High School and earned her veterinary degree from the University of Florida.

There will be four veterinarians working at the two clinics: Kehoe, Dr. Kaitlyn Burns, Dr. Anna Maymone and Dr. Catie Russell-Ryan.
